Leather firefighter helmet tags, or unit identifiers, made with silver retro reflective lining inset in the 3D cutout lettering. Tags are sold as a set. Tags can also rotated 90 degrees for horizontal mounting. Tags are black leather with your choice of stitching color. Additionally they include personalization of your name, or nickname, between the unit name and number. If you’d prefer it to be blank then just leave a note in the order.
These are laser cut from 5/6 oz Hermann Oak vegetable tanned leather and then hand dyed, oiled, and glued prior to stitching. The velcro hook backing is Mil-Spec rated USA made Velcro Brand.
My base abbreviations for different apparatus are as follows:
- Engine/Pumper – “E”
- Ladder – “L”
- Quint – “QT”
- Rescue – “RE”
- Paramedic – “PM”
- Battalion Chief – “BC”
If you need a different abbreviation just let me know! I create my own font customization and stencils and can make anything that I need.
